Our production fixers have a thorough background in working with foreign journalists doing reports or documentaries in France.
Entry Requirements
Journalists from European Union countries can freely enter France and EU countries with their equipment without a need for permits. However, those bringing press equipment into France from non-EU countries will have to apply for temporary admission. This includes press, photography and broadcasting equipment.
Filming Consent
Before broadcasting or publishing an image, journalists will have to seek the prior consent of the individuals being filmed or photographed. They also have to contact the managers of public institutions or monuments they want to cover. You may or may not have to apply for authorization for shooting in public places depending on the scale of your work.
When any of these is required, Fixer France is always on-hand to assist with the process of authorization.
